Description
Many believe that the revelation of Jesus Christ is not essential for salvation in coming into the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, unto full maturity. Christian is Christ-like; those who have conformed to the image of Jesus Christ and not tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine. Most modern-day doctrines of Christ are based upon man’s theology received by some seminary graduates whose instructors imparted to them denominational theology as the ultimate truth, selling them on the idea that only a basic knowledge of a few scriptures is all that is required of God for salvation; no need to concern oneself with the idea of perfection or full maturity and the restitution of all things before the Lord’s return. It is suggested by some that salvation is just saying a few words of repentance and joining a local church; not at all concerned with the body of Christ as the church coming to full maturity before the Lord’s return. Most denominations base their tenets of faith upon a few scriptures claiming a simplicity in Christ requiring no depth of the Word of God; believing that a man’s theology brings salvation by acknowledging such scriptures as Romans 10:9, John 3:16 or Acts 2:38 is all that is required by God. Is God really coming back for a church without spot or blemish that has made herself ready, being perfect in spirit, soul, and body? Faith is the substance of things hoped for; the blessed hope being that of the resurrection. This blessed hope of being accounted worthy to take part in the first resurrection is by faith which is the substance of these things of truth; knowing who Jesus is and what his work in the earth entails. For that that is determined shall be done. Search ye out of the book and read, not one of these things shall fail. Truth is progressively received as the light of God shines more and more unto the perfect day. It is necessary to believe in God and to know these things of the first principles of the oracles of God, not having a lackadaisical attitude toward the things of God. For these things of faith are revealed to the servants of God which will ultimately end in all having the knowledge of the glory of the Lord that will fill the earth.
Charity is demonstrated by the body of Christ when truth is received from love and acted upon in wisdom. Love is the essence and wisdom is the existence revealed in the earth in the revelation of Jesus Christ in and through the body of Christ being joined one to another in the unity of faith. It is the love of the truth that bands together the individual members of the body of Christ into one as we all come into the knowledge of the Son of God as the only Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The perfect man is one that has come unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ propelling us all into the unity of the faith unto full maturity in Christ.
This book is written for your scrutiny in evaluating these basic truths by the Spirit of God that is within you as these “knowledges” flow from our Lord Jesus Christ from his throne. “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” (Proverbs 4:18). The path of the just goes higher and greater in revelation of truth from glory to glory and from faith to faith until we as the body of Christ come unto the perfect day; when we shall see him face to face; the place when the body of Christ comes to full maturity unto the image of Jesus Christ. It is to this end that this book is written, believing that we as the body of Christ must press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. For as many as be perfect are to be thus minded, never satisfied with where we are as the corporate body of Christ; never settled on our lees being at ease in Zion, but always reaching forth to those things of faith which are before us, diligently striving to apprehend that of which we are being apprehended by Christ. The effectual working of the Holy Ghost at this present time is leading and guiding into all truth, not just some basic truths as it pertains to our tenets of denominational acceptance; not just a basic knowledge of a few scriptures as Romans 10:9, Acts 2:38 or John 3:16, but diligently following the leading of the Holy Ghost along the highway of holiness partaking of the divine nature of God until we come unto a perfect man, unto the image of Jesus Christ in full maturity. God bless you and yours in apprehending those things of Christ which will present you blameless in spirit, soul, and body at the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.
