The devil and his adversaries are at war with the Lord JESUS, to kill, steal and destroy all that is of God. The devil knows that he has but a short time, knowing his kingdom was destroyed by our Lord JESUS on the cross of Calvary, Golgotha. However, he and his horde of angels do all they can to avert the judgment that is written, trying to overthrow the kingdom of God.

The primary office of the Spirit of God that he attacks is not the office of the Father, nor is it the Holy Ghost; he attacks the office of the Son of God; for it is in the Son of God that we have our salvation; God coming in flesh and dying for the sins of all mankind. Since the Son of God is the office that is focused upon for the perfecting of the saints of God; that is the primary office or function of the Spirit that Satan attacks knowing that we as the body of Christ must all come to the knowledge of the Son of God in order to reach perfection (Ephesians 4:11). Perfection is full maturity, growing up into a full image of our Lord JESUS; walking as He walked, talking as He talked, walking in the light as He is in the light. The devil knows this and attacks the office of the Son of God in order to offer a false Jesus, a false Christ; the beast.
