Jesus said “Sell that thou hast and give alms”. But did he mean what he said? Was he talking to everyone or just his disciples? Does that command of our Lord Jesus apply to us as believers today at this present time? If I sell out and do give alms, what is required of me and my family? Where do we go? What do we do? How do I make a living?
All of these questions will be answered in this book according to scripture. With that said, no one should do anything without the leading of the Holy Ghost. It would be fruitless for someone to sell out and give to a charlatan or to a false Gospel or ministry. Therefore, being in obedience to the Word of God requires a believer to be first and foremost led of the Holy Ghost. I suggest that anyone desiring to go deeper in God to pray and be led of God as to His will and purpose for your life.
